Q. Were you a fan of the Ninja Turtles before getting involved in this project?
R. I became even small fan, when I watched the 1991 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II – The Secret of the Ooze (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze), which was attended by Vanilla Ice. Since then, I always loved the turtles and all the films in the series.

Q. How was you had the chance to participate in this new approach to adventure?
A. I knew they were planning to do a new kind of action movie about turtles because there was already talk about it for years. The project ended up going for Platinum Dunes producer Michael Bay, and I was lucky to find the doors open to a meeting. I really wanted to be part of this project, then fought hard for it.

Q. How did it feel to attend Ninja Turtles (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)?
R. In fact, I think I've never been so excited to participate in something, just for what it represented: bring me back to childhood.

Q. Das quarter Ninja Turtles, what was your favorite when you were little?
R. Michelangelo! When you're a girl, you can have a crush on cartoon characters, as ridiculous as that may seem. Mikey was also my favorite because he brought a certain mood to the group and was the one who never took anything too seriously.Today I see his personality, in a way, echoes of my father, so maybe I liked him.

Q. In the film you play a journalist April O'Neil. What kind of woman is she?
A. As soon as you know it, it seems one of those interviewers that you see on the red carpet, making futile matters. But she wants to be taken seriously. Then, you realize that she is unhappy trying to find a real story to succeed.

Q. How she manages this success?
R. His life changes when she stumbles upon the turtles and the Foot Clan. She is deeply engulfed by this story.

Q. What is the extent of their involvement with the Ninja Turtles?
R. It involves so much that you have to ask yourself how far you want to tell the story and become a hero as a journalist. Or should be protected and remain faithful to this new family to which was attached to.

Q. Do you think that would make a good reporter in real life?
A. I guess I would not have succeeded in this sector because they would never want to cover frivolous things like celebrity news. But at the same time, my psyche is very sensitive and I feel kind of overwhelmed by what is really going on in the world. Therefore, none of the segments is good for me.

Q. Have you worked with Michael Bay in the first two Transformers movies – Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) – other films and special effects. What was the difference with The Tarugas Ninja?
R. In this film, there was a smaller number of large explosions and feats than in Transformers and Transformers: revenge of the Fallen. The way I contracenei with the turtles was also different from how I interacted with the giant robots.

Q. How was the experience of this new type of interaction for you?
R. Instead of giant robots that were never actually present in Ninja Turtles, I interacted with actors playing the turtles with motion capture technology. And also, the fact of having a dilálogo with someone who is physically in front, which has its own lines. This changes everything and just makes the job easier.

Q. What differences do you think we'll see in The Ninja Turtles on the big screen, compared to those that you watched when little?
A. I feel that they are very similar. Perhaps are not as simple as drawing, but are well faithful to the original comics and movies. People want to see the turtles of their memory, and ours are also fun, funny and ridiculous. I think fans will be very happy.

Q. has many comical scenes in this movie?
A. Oh, yeah, that guy has a lot of teasing and typical comedy turtles. It's good for the kids and never gets too sinister.

Q. And how was the physical demands of this role for you?
R. attended a lot of action scenes. Has a huge scene with Will Arnett and choreographed fighting the Foot Clan, which we only found out an hour before being on camera. That scene was chaotic and crazy and made us feel powerful. It was very exciting!

Q. How is Jonathan Liebesman directing?
A. What I love about Jonathan is that, above all, he wants to make a good film and is always willing to listen to the opinions of others. So we really formed a team.And I also love his sense of humor making fun of himself!

Q. Whoopi Goldberg plays the role of his boss. What can you say about her?
R. I love you so much! She is amazing, has a great mood and is a very special human being. Whoopi is one of those people that makes you open as an actress and makes you feel great on the scene. I feel I could do well better with her by my side.

Q. Will Arnett is inseparable camera April.
R. I was very excited to get him on the project because I am a big fan of Arrested Development. He also has very funny moments in the film and it was very nice to have someone around who also has son and, accordingly, have the same priorities that I now have.

Q. Have you ever had a pet turtle?
A. I never had one at home but when I go to Hawaii, has a sea turtle that I always visit, his name is Franklin. I know it's him because he has fallen left eye.

Q. Why do you think these Ninja Turtles are so loved around the world?
R. My theory is that each is based on our temperaments and thus we can identify with one of them. Do not know if this formula was intentional or unintentionally, but is perfect to attract the audience. Clear that Michelangelo is who I most identify myself, although Leonardo may be slightly melancholic and I also have a little bit of this in my personality. But it is the part of me that I do not want to analyze, while Mikey is in the foreground.

Q. And they're fun!
A. Yes, it helps to release that inner child that we all have, even when we try to repress it. And so, when you watch the turtles, you go back to being a child without having to make excuses.

Q. You already admitted that sometimes feels afraid of the dark, but recorded many scenes in this film to dark tunnels. How was that?
A. It is true that sometimes I'm afraid of the dark, but only if you're at home, all alone. In shooting, you're never, then, I was right!

Box Office Final: ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ $65.5M, ‘Guardians’ $42.1M

9th UPDATE, Monday, 1:20 PM: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ended up the three-day weekend with $65.5M, buoyed by the brand recognition from those 25- to 35-year-olds who grew up on them and powered by a very well-executed marketing campaign (which included a national cross-promotion with Pizza Hut). The Michael Bay production charged into the weekend box office on Thursday and just didn't stop. The film, directed by Jonathan Liebesman, already has sparked a sequel. Paramount and Bay have breathed new life into two new sequels this summer, Turtles and Transformers. The question for Turtles is what will happen next weekend as it was not a favorite of critics (to say the least) and the core audience gave it a B CinemaScore, which usually means an average multiple of 3.2. Its ww total is now of $94.5M.
