Megan Fox: My Comment About “Unattractive Girls” Was “Grossly Distorted”"

Megan Fox may be one of the hottest women in Hollywood–but she wants to make it clear that she doesn’t see herself that way.

The 25-year-old Friends With Kids actress is featured on the cover of French magazine Jalouse‘s April issue. In their interview with her, Fox is quoted as saying she “live[s] well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl.”

An annoyed Fox took to her Facebook page Friday to clarify her comments. “Sigh. The actual comment, the context and its intention are grossly distorted and misrepresented here,” Fox writes on her profile page, adding that poor translation is really to blame. “I gave this interview in English obviously,” she says. “It was then translated to French and now back into English.”

The actress insists the quotes are completely out of character for her, and says she’s not the type to make the type of “vapid self serving comments” printed by the magazine. In fact, Fox asserts, “[I am] in contradiction…uncontrollably self deprecating.”

Earlier this month, Fox opened up to MIAMI magazine about feeling insecure and lonely as a teen. “I was never the pretty girl,” she shared, calling her younger self “obnoxious” and “abrasive.”

Megan Fox: I Would Never Trade Places With an “Unattractive Girl”

Megan Fox is undoubtedly pretty, but humble? Not so much.

In an interview with April issue of France’s Jalouse magazine, the 25-year-old Friends With Kids star says she’s happy to be seen as one of the sexiest women in Hollywood. “I live well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl.”

Despite her good looks, the actress, who’s been married to Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Brian Austin Green, 38, since 2010, says she hates participating in photo shoots.

“I hate taking pictures. I never look at them, otherwise I would have to change everything,” Fox explains. “I prefer not to see any and trust the photographer, who knows his job.”

Though she’s the face of Giorgio Armani’s beauty, fragrance and skincare campaigns, Fox didn’t always feel beautiful. “I was never the pretty girl,” the actress told MIAMI Magazine in March, describing her teenage self as “abrasive” and “obnoxious.”

Megan Fox ‘pregnant’: Actress ‘expecting first child with husband Brian Austin Green’

Megan Fox is pregnant, according to reports.

The 25-year-old actress is said to be expecting her first child with husband Brian Austin Green and the couple are thrilled with the happy news.

A source told America’s Star magazine: ‘They just found out and are incredibly excited.’

Megan and Brian, 38, had kept the news to just close family and friends something they have found difficult because they are so excited about the baby.

The source added: ‘It’s still early, so they are only telling close friends and family members.’

The Friends with Kids star has already had lots of parenting practise as she is stepmother to Brian’s nine-year-old son Kassius, his child with actress Vanessa Marcil.

The source said: ‘Megan has become a great stepmom, and Brian knows she’ll be wonderful with the baby. ‘She has really grown in the past couple of years … her family comes first.’

Megan and Brian tied the knot in June 2010 at the Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii.

They first met in 2004 on the set of Hope & Faith. They became engaged two years later but broke things off in early 2009.

The couple became engaged again in June the following year and promptly married.

Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox Accused of Assaulting Man on Beach

Legal trouble in paradise for Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox.

The husband and wife of nearly two years are the defendants in a new lawsuit alleging the violent assault of a photographer on the beach in Hualalai, Hawaii last December.

Documents at TMZ report that paparazzo Delbert Shaw was taking photos of Green, 38, and wife Fox, 25, frolicking in the sand and surf. Perturbed, the sexy couple allegedly began arguing with Shaw — leading Green to begin “pummeling” Shaw, while Friends With Kids star Fox reportedly cheered him on throughout the beating.

Asking for unspecified damages, the lawsuit claims that Shaw suffered serious injuries, and that Green threw his iPhone into the ocean.

Fox and Green’s reps didn’t return calls to TMZ.

Chris O’Dowd Applauds Megan Fox for Standing Up to Michael Bay

Megan Fox and Transformers director Michael Bay have been in a war of words since 2009 — and though it may have cost the 25-year-old actress a few film roles, it’s also earned her the respect of Friends With Kids costar Chris O’Dowd.

“Who wouldn’t have a fallout with [Bay]?” O’Dowd, 32, tells The Toronto Sun. “It’s one of the sexist things I’ve ever seen. She called him an a–hole. Well, he is a f-cking a–hole. She’s not the only one who has said that. Why has she been singled out?”

For those who have forgotten, Fox once compared Bay to Adolf Hitler on set. After Bay got wind of her comment, producer Steven Spielberg reportedly told him: “Fire her right now.”

Though O’Dowd has never worked with Bay, 47, he knows Fox hasn’t had an easy time since she was dropped from the Transformers franchise.

“I don’t know the ins and outs of it, but it’s all down to having a fallout with Michael Bay,” O’Dowd said. “I would never f-cking watch his films, never mind go and act in them.”

Megan Fox says having a kid won’t cramp her social style

At 25, Megan Fox is not only married, she’s married to an original "90210" cast member (Brian Austin Green), and she's also a stepmom to his nine-year-old son, Kassius.

Fox says the mom part is way more challenging than being in a Hollywood relationship.

"Of those three, (parenting) is definitely the most difficult," she told FOX411. "There is the most reward in it, but there is also the most pressure, guilt and worry."

Fox also sounded pretty certain that she wants to have a baby of her own, and isn't worried about any consequent changes to her social life."I've never really socialized, I've always been anti-social and preferred to be at home," she said. "I was never, even my late teens and early twenties, into clubs and parties and stuff like that. So I feel like the transition will be fairly easy, in that sense, for me."

The sexy "Transformers" star flexes acting muscles of a different kind in the newly released romantic comedy, "Friends With Kids," which centers around two best friends (Jennifer Westfeldt and Adam Scott) who decide to have a child together while keeping their relationship platonic, in an effort to avoid the toll having children can take on romantic relationships. Fox plays a woman who Scott’s character falls for post-baby, complicating the situation.

Fox said that on a personal level, she doubts she could ever commit to a friends-only parenting arrangement.

"I feel like if you are with someone through the process of pregnancy and delivery, if nothing else, there is such an incredible amount of respect that would lead into some sort of love in one way or another," Fox continued. "And it would become confusing in that situation."
